I am not a qualified philosopher, nor a logician and neither a debater, yet I like to think!
Posts tagged as 'philosophy' are my amateur attempts to define and analyze the premises of life - others' premises, my premises. I believe, we all are different many times because so are our 'inherent' dispositions. But once in a while it so happens that despite similar dispositions, differences between two persons are because of their differing on some fundamental premises on what life is or ought to be. And quite surprisingly, in most cases we are not even aware what our premises are! We make decisions by our premises, invest emotions based on them, and thus in a way, our lives are a composite of what our premises are and our (inherent) ability to live by them. Is it not then important to explore them? Compare them?
Premises are the starting points of any logic, philosophy or science. They even define the limits of our imagination. It is interesting to see the interplay of various premises within the same person, and even between different ones, and how they shape individuals and societies. All, without our ever noticing.
