Well-articulated disagreement would be a very good indicator that I was understood, and would be appreciated more than perfunctory agreement or praise. But of course, you could agree and praise...

ReplyDeleteAs you might know, I amn't much enlightened when it comes to politics and contemporary social issues. But yes, in the light of whatever little insight I've about this matter, I've voted for option (d) -> "SUPPORT for government's attempts to stop burning of Quran in the US; SUPPORT for government's attempts to stop wearing Burqa in France."
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity. T C. :)
Hi Ketan
ReplyDeleteWanted to vote for either (b) or (d). Wasn't completely siding either with positions on the the quran burning part. But am not able to vote for (d)! Even before I can vote, it is telling me "not to vote more than once".
With Burqa ban, I was convinced that it is a grave security issue. With the Quran burning, I felt, and still feel, that it is needlessly being given attention to. An attempt by a nut-case for his 15 minutes, and all the media fell into the trap. I don't find anything logical or meaningful in that man's act. May be I am siding with the US Government (Option (d)). Honestly I couldn't care less with the burning part.
Cheers
the survey is confusing
ReplyDeleteI tried to vote in the survey but got a "You cannot vote repeatedly" message... :(
ReplyDeleteI wanted to hit the first option (no surprise there!)
